I did say a couple weeks back that Nico would be that team's first line centre this season.

Kucherov scares me

Don't get me wrong, I am huge on Nico, but I feel going on about how he "ranks 27th in 5v5 scoring chances/60" is missleading. Yes, it is true, however, its basically all a result of his first game. Game one he had 6 shots on net; however, the the next three games he ended with only 1 shot per game, capping the last one without any shots on net.

Scares us all!! What a great contract for Tampa. Stammers is barely even worth mentioning with all the great players on that team. I'd be surprised if they didn't make it to the conference finals this year.

As long as we're winning i don't mind so much that Nico isn't scoring right now.

Hopefully the Devils speed will cause fits and cause TB to take a lot of penalties. Gotta win the special teams battle tonight to have a chance.

This is an interesting matchup because both teams are penalty-prone, while also being opportunistic offenses. This game will not come down to possession play or shots on net, it will be about which team makes less mistakes (ie: penalties, giveaways and poorly timed defensive pinches). If either team doesn't show up today or takes a period off (like a good portion of the Rags game), this game could get ugly. Either way, it will be exciting to watch!

Well if that's the case you should have been there game 1 man. His parents need to go home already!!! There are some bars close, and a good BBQ place called dinosaur bar-b-que. right next to the Rock.

like the Washington game, this will be a nice test for our defense, and if the offense can capitalize on a weak bolts D/G. MAYBE THIS WILL BE THE GAME HALL BREAKS OUT

Budaj worries me a little. He is not as good as his hot streak in LA made him look.

Ok. 6-3 Tampa.

I won't make any predictions. I think the Devils have a good chance in this game. The Lightning will be tired and using their backup goalie. I am not completely sold on Budaj yet as a backup.

Stopping Kucherov's goal streak might be harder for the Devils in this game than getting the win.
